These terms and conditions apply to the Tar 32 app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by Alexander Halkias (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as an Ad Supported service.
Upon downloading or utilizing the Application, you are automatically agreeing to the following terms. It is strongly advised that you thoroughly read and understand these terms prior to using the Application.
1. Intellectual Property
Unauthorized copying, modification of the Application, any part of the Application, or our trademarks is strictly prohibited. Any attempts to extract the source code of the Application, translate the Application into other languages, or create derivative versions are not permitted. All trademarks, copyrights, database rights, and other intellectual property rights related to the Application remain the property of the Service Provider.
2. Service Modifications and Charges
The Service Provider is dedicated to ensuring that the Application is as beneficial and efficient as possible. As such, they reserve the right to modify the Application or charge for their services at any time and for any reason. The Service Provider assures you that any charges for the Application or its services will be clearly communicated to you.

By using the Application, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age. It is your responsibility to maintain the security of your phone and access to the Application. The Service Provider strongly advises against jailbreaking or rooting your phone, which involves removing software restrictions and limitations imposed by the official operating system of your device. Such actions could expose your phone to malware, viruses, malicious programs, compromise your phone's security features, and may result in the Application not functioning correctly or at all.

6. Connectivity and Usage Responsibility
Please be aware that the Service Provider does not assume responsibility for certain aspects. Some functions of the Application require an active internet connection (Wi-Fi or mobile network). The Service Provider cannot be held responsible if the Application does not function at full capacity due to lack of access to data or if you have exhausted your data allowance.
If you are using the application outside of a Wi-Fi area, your mobile network provider's agreement terms still apply. You accept responsibility for any such charges, including roaming data charges. Similarly, the Service Provider cannot assume responsibility for your device's state, such as battery life or hardware failure.
7. Artificial Intelligence (AI), Biometrics, and Data Retention
The Application utilizes Artificial Intelligence (AI) and biometric technologies (specifically facial geometry and ID verification) provided by third-party services like Didit to estimate and verify your age.
Informed Consent: By using the Application and undergoing age verification, you provide your express, written consent for the Service Provider and its third-party processors to collect, store, and process your biometric identifiers and facial geometry.
Purpose: This data is collected solely for the purpose of age verification to ensure platform safety and compliance with global regulations.
Manual Deletion & Retention Schedule: The Service Provider (Alexander Halkias) maintains a strict privacy-first policy. Identification documents and biometric data used for verification are reviewed and permanently deleted manually by the Service Provider at least once every seven (7) days.
Final Destruction: In all cases, sensitive biometric identifiers and document images are destroyed within thirty (30) days of the initial verification. Once deleted from the third-party verification console (Didit) by the Service Provider, this data is unrecoverable.
Disclosure: Your biometric data is disclosed only to the third-party verification provider (Didit) and is not sold, leased, or traded.

THE SERVICE PROVIDER DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THE SERVICE PROVIDER DOES NOT GUARANTEE THE APPLICATION WILL BE SECURE, ERROR-FREE, OR UNINTERRUPTED.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE PROVIDER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA OR HARM CAUSED BY USER CONDUCT) ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APPLICATION. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE SERVICE PROVIDER'S TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU (IF ANY) TO USE THE SERVICE.
10. Termination and Updates
The Service Provider may update the application at any time. You agree to always accept updates when offered. The Service Provider may also cease providing the application and terminate its use at any time without notice. Upon termination, (a) the rights and licenses granted to you in these terms will end; (b) you must cease using the application and delete it from your device.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions and your use of the Application are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict of law principles. You agree that any legal action or proceeding between you and the Service Provider shall be brought exclusively in a federal or state court of competent jurisdiction sitting in York County, Pennsylvania.
12. Reporting and Blocking Objectionable Content
The Service Provider is committed to maintaining a safe community. To ensure this:
Reporting: If you encounter any content or user that violates the community guidelines (including harassment, illegal content, or intellectual property infringement), you should report it immediately to lexicul30@gmail.com or use the reporting tools provided by the service. The Service Provider will review all reports and take appropriate action, which may include content removal or account termination, typically within 24–48 hours.
Blocking: Users have the ability to "block" other users within the Application. Blocking a user will prevent them from interacting with you or viewing your content.
No Tolerance Policy: The Service Provider maintains a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content or abusive users. We reserve the right to remove any content and permanently ban any user who violates these safety standards without prior notice.
13. User-Generated Content License: You retain all ownership rights to the content you post. However, by posting content to the Application, you grant the Service Provider a non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sub-licensable, worldwide license to host, use, distribute, modify, run, copy, publicly perform or display, and translate your content for the purposes of operating and providing the Service.
Changes to These Terms and Conditions
The Service Provider may periodically update these Terms and Conditions. You are advised to review this page regularly. Continued use of the Application following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of such changes.
